Crispy Garlic Tofu



With the ideal amount of crunch on the outside and a soft, flavorful interior, this Crispy Garlic Tofu recipe is a delightful combination of flavors and textures. Tofu is infused with savory goodness from the marinade of garlic and soy sauce, which makes it a favorite among tofu enthusiasts.

Ingredients:

  • 1 block extra firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, cornstarch, salt, and pepper

Add cubed tofu to the marinade and let it sit for 15-20 minutes

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat

Add marinated tofu cubes to the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 5-7 minutes

Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving
